ICAO Austria is based on the licensed, original, digital
Airfield guide Europe Visual 500 map (aviation map ICAO) of the DFS Deutsche
Flugsicherung GmbH with a resolution of 1:250.000 or 500
dpi. The product is delivered as an entire, homogeneous and coherent data set.
ICAO Austria is part of the product mega pack Germany, Austria,
Switzerland, Benelux. The technology used in AirMap allows seamless
flights between the maps VFR Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux, i.e. not
only the map parts are automatically loaded, but the crossing from one to the other
map occurs without interruption. No borders visible when crossing boundaries from
one to another adjacent map.
